Jeannette Parramore (1956) was een vertrouwde stem in Vroege Vogels. De extreme situaties (donker, koud, eng, verdwaald) waarin zij als verslaggever soms terechtkwam, werden de bron voor haar humorvolle en sprankelende verhalen, waarin ze fictie en waarheid op een bijzondere manier vermengt. Vanzelfsprekend spelen de natuur én de verwondering daarover de hoofdrol en vertelt ze en passant hoe een radioprogramma als Vroege Vogels gemaakt wordt.
Jeannette Parramore is natuurverslaggever en werkte vooral voor radio en televisie waar zij interviews, reportages en documentaires maakte. Haar radiodocumentaire Doodsverlangen (nps) werd genomineerd voor de Prix Europa 2006. Voor het populaire radio 1 programma Vroege Vogels (zondagmorgen tussen 7 en 10) heeft zij ruim 18 jaar gewerkt.
